For me it's less a complaint with a character and more that certain writing choices get repetitive over time. I have no nostalgia for the show because I didn't watch it at a younger age so I am likely less likely to accept things I'm not fond of. I think Mabel has some great episodes and has a lot of potential, so I can see why people in general being hard on her would be annoying. She's still not my cup of tea, which I see less as a flaw in Mabel in universe and more a few weaker writing moments, but I do hear you. I have a hard time enjoying more immature characters in general just due to my own stuff, but I definitely see more that I appreciate about Mabel this time around than I did the first time. I think a lot of people who had to be the responsible one for a Mabel type ... We might respond with more annoyance than is strictly warranted.

2023-12-06 01:34:11 +0000 UTCJV, did you notice how Bill said "Eenie meenie miney, you!" Stan said exactly the same to Dipper in the first episode when he gave him the task to hang up the Mystery Shack-signs in the woods.

2023-12-05 22:29:05 +0000 UTCYeah I know the password is something else. But I just remembered it wasn't in the journal where Bill gave this answer. It was on reddit where a random person asked Bill Cipher what the password to the laptop is. And then Bill said "gullible".
Malicious
2023-12-05 20:53:35 +0000 UTCItβs not, because in the limited edition of the journal there was a page showing the laptop and with the Black light you were able to see the password but Iβm not gonna say it because JV could get spoiled if he sees this

2023-12-05 19:36:22 +0000 UTCThis episodeβs journal entry was written by Mabel because Dipper was exhausted. She wrote a few tips to recognize if a body is possessed by Bill, apologized to Dipper and found a note written by Bill in the car on the way to the shack saying the following βNote to self: Possessing people Is hilarious! To think of all The sensations Iβve missing out on- burning, stabbing, drowning is like a buffet tray of fun! Once I destroy that Journal, Iβll enjoy giving this body Itβs grand finale- by throwing it off the water tower! Best of all, people will think pine tree lost his mind, and his mental form will wonder In the mindscape forever. Want to join him shooting star?β
