Caffeine/Chemical element cubes progress!
Added 2025-09-04 07:32:31 +0000 UTCHey everyone! This is an update to my progress of making acrylic display pieces of chemicals/elements. The idea would be to seal leftover chemicals in my future videos into ampoules and then embed those in acrylic cubes, for limited time merch every now and again. I feel like it would give the pieces a bit of a silly story behind them compared to plain chemicals from a factory. Though I might do both, not sure yet.
Well after months of waiting for my Oxy/Propane torch parts to arrive, it's finally together and working great! So these past few days I've been testing different variables for sealing the ampoules and I figured I should make this video that shows my current progress as well as the challenges I've gotten over and all the more to overcome. My methods are a bit rough lol, but it shows the general idea behind it.
Next challenge: Buying, shipping, and working/casting with the acrylic monomer Methyl Methacrylate in my big pressure pot haha 馃拃
